Anti-racism work is (at least) a 2-step process: education first, then action.
Here are some thought provoking book club selections that, through powerful narrative, describe different patient community’s lived experience with racism in America. Books are never just books. They are blueprints that can inspire actions for further advocacy and activism in any personal and professional sphere you may belong to.

Kid Book Power
We never forget kids on this virtual platform. Children’s books are magic personified into written words and illustrations. I have listed a few that I highly recommend to start important conversations with kids in a developmentally appropriate manner. Representation matters in everything and seeing diverse faces and stories is a crucial first step in raising anti-racist kids in our homes.
